Two competitions will get the countrywide spotlight on Thursday night in NFL preseason sports betting. Backup Quarterbacks – The New England Patriots have Brian Hoyer as their backup to Tom Brady. It will basically be Hoyer’s match since Brady won’t play long. He has been okay in relief of Brady in the preseason so the New England Patriots are not impossible. The Giants have a big difficulty after Eli Manning leaves the match on Thursday. Their backup is Jim Sorgi but he has been hurt. It’s been third-string quarterback Rhett Bomar who has been receiving most of the action. He doesn’t really provide you much confidence. You have to worry about Bomar playing poorly, though you could like to make your wager on the New York Giants in this match vs the NFL preseason lines. It is possible that Sorgi will return for this match and if so, that could be great news for New York since Sorgi will want to play well to make sure he still has the backup quarterback job.
